Six-year-old boy suffers serious injuries after being hit by a car in Vittoriosa

A six-year-old boy was grievously injured after being run over by a vehicle in Vittoriosa.
The police said the accident occurred at Xatt ir-Rizq at about 10:30pm when the boy was hit by a Skoda Felicia driven by a 61-year-old man from Fgura.
The boy was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance, and was later certified to be suffering from grievous injuries.
Police investigations are ongoing.
