Two women hospitalised after traffic accident

Two women were injured and subsequently hospitalised after they lost control of their car and landed in a field

Yesterday night at 9:30 a traffic accident tood place in Delimara, injuring two women.

Preliminary police investigations show that a 66-year-old woman lost control of her car, which flew over a rubble wall and landed in the adjacent field.

An ambulance conveyed the driver and her passenger, who is also 66, to Mater Dei hospital.

While the driver was only lightly injured, the passenger suffered grievous injuries.

Police investigations are still on-going.
