Cyclist grievously injured after slipping on fuel

A 62-year-old Attard resident was grievously injured this morning while cycling when he slipped on an oil patch on the ground.

The accident took place at 7:50am in Triq il-Ghajn in Dingli.

While the cyclist was taken to Mater Dei hospital for medical treatment, members of the Civil Protection Department were called on the seen to remove any danger.

Police investigations are still on-going.
