Motorcyclist grievously injured in fall

A man was grievously injured in the early hours of  the morning when he fell off his motorcycle in Marsaskala.

At about 12:30am this morning, police were called on the scene on St Thomas’ Bay road in Marsaskala to find a 61-year-old Briton had fallen off his Suzuki motorcycle after losing control of it.

An ambulance took the man to Mater Dei hospital for treatment. It was later declared that he was suffering from severe injuries but was not in danger of dying.

Police investigations are still on-going.
