Passengers suffer grievous injuries in two-car crash at Tal-Barrani

Four persons were hospitalized, two with grievous injuries, following a traffic accident in Zejtun earlier this evening in Triq tal-Barrani.

The incident happened at 6:20pm when two cars, a Renault Megane and a Honda Civic, collided. Members of the Civil Protection Department and several ambulances were called to the site.

The Renault was being driven by a 36-year-old man while the Honda was being driven by a 30-year-old man. Both drivers reside in Zejtun and suffered slight injuries.

The passengers in both cars, a 37-year-old man from Haz-Zabbar and a 27-year-old woman from Zejtun, were grievously injured.

Investigations by the police are underway.
