Motorcyclist grievously injured in skid

 A motorcyclist was seriously injured this morning when his motorcycle skidded while driving along Selmun Hill, Mellieha.

The police said the motorcyclist, a 35-year-old man from Vittoriosa, was injured when his Ducati motorcycle skidded.

The man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by an ambulance, where he was later certified to be suffering from grievous injuries.

Police investigations are ongoing.
