Worker injured in construction site fall

A Gozitan, 57, has been hospitalised after falling from more than one storey in a building which was under construction.

According to a police statement, the accident took place at 10:45am in a construction site on Cathedral Street, Sliema.

A medical team conveyed the man, resident of Rabat, Gozo, to Mater Dei hospital for treatment, but his condition is not yet known.

Police investigations are still underway.
