Motorcyclist suffers grievous injuries from fall

A 42-year-old Pieta resident was grievously injured after falling off his motorcycle.

The accident took place at 1:15pm on Panoramic Road when the man was driving his Yamaha in the direction of Dingli.

According to police reports, the man lost control of his motorcycle and fell off.

An ambulance was called on the scene and the victim was conveyed to hospital, where the severity of his injuries was determined.

Duty magistrate Charmaine Galea ordered an inquiry into the case.

Police investigations are still under way.
