Man stabbed in Paceville, seriously injured

A 25-year-old man was seriously injured during the early hours of this morning after he was stabbed in Paceville.

The police said the incident occurred at about 5am in Triq San Gorg, St Julian’s, during an argument between the Greek victim and an unknown assailant.

During the altercation, the man was stabbed with a sharp and pointed instrument, police said.

The man was taken to hospital by ambulance and was later certified to be suffering from grievous injuries.

Police investigations are ongoing.
