Motorcyclist hospitalised after Birkirkara collision

A motorcyclist has been hospitalised after being involved in a collision with a car late this morning.

The 43-year-old biker, a resident of Birkirkara, was driving his Kawasaki KMX200, reportedly in the direction of Birkirkara, when he collided with a BMW 520DSE as it was reversing out of a garage, local media reported.

Police sources said the accident took place at 11:30am, in Naxxar Road, Birkirkara.

The extent of the biker’s injuries are not yet known.

The car was being driven by a 23-year-old man, of Birkirkara.
