A woman was seriously injured late yesterday night when two vehicles crashed head-on in Gozo
A woman was seriously injured late yesterday night when two vehicles crashed head-on in Gozo, while the driver of the same vehicle suffered slight injuries.
The accident took place on Triq ir-Rabat, Żebbuġ at 11:15pm, and involved a Hyundai Tucson driven by a 45-year-old man from Victoria and a Hyundai Excel driven by a 54-year-old man from Żebbuġ.
The woman, 52, was a passenger in the Hyundai Excel.
Members of the Civil Protection Department and a medical team were dispatched to assist the injured parties.
Police investigations are still ongoing.
