Motorcyclist grievously injured in traffic collision

A 52-year-old motorcyclist suffered grievous injuries in an accident this morning and was subsequently hospitalised to receive treatment.

The accident took place on Triq il-Wileg, St Paul’s Bay, at 5:30am, when a collision occurred between the motorcyclist, a St Julian's resident, as he was driving a Yamaha, and a 33-year-old man at the wheel of Seat Ibiza.

The latter, a St Paul’s Bay resident, walk away from the accident unharmed.
