Armed thief makes off with woman's bag

An armed thief made off with a woman's bag, which contained cash, after threatening her with sharp weapon.

According to police, the robbery took place in a pharmacy on Victoria Street, Qormi at 6:30pm.

The man had concealed his face and was wearing a hoodie, police said.

The woman, 43, suffered minor injuries.
