A teenager has been hospitalised with grievous injuries after he lost control of the vehicle he was driving and crashed into an electricity pole yesterday evening.
The man, 19, from Birżebbuġa, became trapped in his Toyota Platz after it overturned as a result of the accident.
He was rescued from the wreckage by members of the Civil Protection Department and taken to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment.
The accident took place on Mdina Road, Qormi at 10:45pm.
