Man grievously injured in Marsascala fall
66-year-old man suffers grievous injuries after falling off a ladder while carrying out roof works
An elderly man was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital suffering grievous injuries after he fall a height of one storey, off a ladder.
According to the police’s communications office, the incident happened at around 1pm whilst the man, 66, was carrying out works on a private residence’s roof.
He was on a ladder, in Triq l-Ikhal, Marsaskala, when he fell.
Members of the Civil Protection Department and paramedics were called in to assist the man.
A magisterial inquiry is underway.
