Man grievously injured in Mosta assault

A man has suffered grievous injuries after being assaulted by two unknown assailants.

The police said they received a call for assistance yesterday at about 7:45pm, leading them to Triq Wied is-Sir, Mosta.

A medical team was called on the scene, and the 22-year-old victim, a Fgura resident, was later conveyed to Mater Dei hospital for treatment.
