72-year-old woman seriously injured after collapsing in Cospicua

A 72-year-old woman from Cospicua was seriously injured after collapsing in the street due to health issues.

Police were called to the scene in Triw fuq Verdala, in Cospicua, at around 2.40pm, where they found the woman had collapsed and been injured.

An ambulance took the woman to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment, and she was later found to have suffered grievous injuries.

Police investigations are continuing.
