Elderly man grievously injured in fall

An elderly man landed in hospital to be treated for grievous injuries he sustained after falling from a boundary wall in San Gwann late this morning.

The 73-year-old San Gwann resident had fallen off the wall, located on Triq il-Gibjun, at 10:45am, according to the police. He was then conveyed to Mater Dei hospital by ambulance.

Police investigations are still ongoing.
