A young factory worker sustained grievous injuries to his arm while on the job in the Mriehel Industrial Estate

A young man sustained grievous injuries to his arm in a workplace accident

A 19-year-old man from St Venera was grievously injured in a workplace accident earlier today.

According to the police, the youth injured his arm while operating machinery in a factory Triq il-Merghat, within the Mriehel Industrial Estate, at about 11:30.

The youth was conveyed to Mater Dei hospital for treatment.
