Youth, 19, arrested for drug trafficking

Police have arrested a 19-year-old man from Marsa for trafficking cocaine and heroin. In a statement, the police said that Drugs Squad officers made the arrest following days of observation in and around Marsa.

The 19-year-old was found in possession of heroin and cociane that he had planned to sell. Police also recovered packets contianing both drugs that the youth had thrown away upon noticing the police.

He is being held under arrest at the Police headquarters for further investigation.
