Motorcyclist grievously injured in Fgura collision

A 53-year-old motorcyclist was grievously injured this afternoon after his motorcycle was involved in a collision with a car in Fgura.

The police said the accident took place on Triq il-Kampanella, at 3.10pm, and involved the motorcyclist, a resident of Fgura, who was riding his Yamaha DT125, and a 51-year-old woman from Sta Luċija, who was driving a Mazda 3.

The motorcyclist was conveyed to Mater Dei hospital by ambulance in order to receive treatment for his injuries.
