Armed burglar makes off with cash from Rabat hold-up

An armed robber made off with a sum of cash after holding up a shop in Triq San Pawl, Rabat.

According to the police, the man entered the shop and ordered the employee, a 23-year-old woman, to hand over the money.

He was masked and wearing a hoodie, wielding a pointed object. However, no one was injured in the incident, which took place at about 1:00pm.

A magisterial inquiry has been opened to investigate the case.
