Man hospitalised with grievous injuries after Lija explosion

A man has been hosptialised to receive treatment for grievous injuries he sustained in a small explosion in a Lija establishment this morning.

According to police, the incident took place on Triq il-Mosta at about 11:00am. Police did not specify the cause of the explosion.

The victim was a 43-year-old Rabat resident.

Police investigations are ongoing.
