Youth seriously injured in Qawra brawl

A 28-year-old man suffered grievous injuries after a fight broke out between three men in Qawra during the early hours of this morning.

Police said the incident occurred at around 2am in Triq it-Turisti.

The 28-year-old Mellieha man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital where he was certified to be suffering from grievous injuries.

The two other men escaped from the scene of the crime, police said.

Police investigations are ongoing.
