Man grievously injured in Mqabba traffic accident

A man suffered grievous injuries early this morning when his car crashed into a wall.

The accident took place at 12.45 on Triq tas-Sejba, Mqabba, when the 46-year-old San Ġwann man lost control of a Renault Megane he was driving and crashed into a wall.

Members of the Civil Protection Department dispatched to the scene of the accident in order to free the man from the wreckage.

An ambulance conveyed the victim to Mater Dei hospital for treatment.
