Man arrested after police find 100 drug sachets

A 26-year-old man from Msida was arrested this afternoon on suspicion of selling drugs at the Marsa race tracks.

Police found 100 sachets of cocaine and heroin on the man's person. The condition of the drugs indicated that they were intended for trafficking, police said.

A magisterial inquiry is under way.
