Elderly truck driver hospitalised after Valletta accident

A 71-year-old from Rabat was rushed to hospital this afternoon after his Ford Cargo truck was involved in a crash in Valletta this afternoon.

A police spokesperson told MaltaToday that the truck driver, who lives in Rabat, was driving in St Mark’s Street, Valletta at around 3:45pm when he collided with a car.

The driver of the car in question, identified as a 36-year-old male from Qormi, did not suffer any injuries.
