Man suffers grievous facial wounds in brawl

A man has been hospitalised with grievous facial injuries in a fight in St Julian's involving a number of people

A man was stabbed in the face during an argument this morning

A 20-year-old Libyan, resident of Sliema has been hospitalised with grievous facial injuries after an argument at 6:30am in St Julian’s escalated into a brawl.

An ambulance was dispatched on site to Triq San Gorg to convey the man to Mater Dei hospital for treatment.

According to police, several people were involved in the argument.

Police investigations are ongoing.
