Baby grievously injured in traffic accident

A one-year-old boy suffered grievous injuries when the car he was riding in was involved in a collision with a parked bus.

According to police, the accident took place at 8.20am on Triq il-Kunsill ta’ l-Ewropa, Żabbar. The car involved was a Toyota IQ, driven by a 20-year-old Birzebbugia man.

The child was conveyed to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.

Police investigations are ongoing.
