Man stabbed in Santa Lucija home

A 59-year-old man suffered grievous injuries after being stabbed with a sharp object this morning in his home, in Triq Misrah Dorell, Santa Lucija.

According to a police statement, police were called on the scene after the victim reached out to health authorities for assistance at 4:30am.

The alleged aggressor has not yet been identified, police said.

Duty magistrate Marse-Ann Farrugia ordered an inquiry into the case.

Police investigations are ongoing.
