Teen grievously injured in Għar Lapsi fall

A 19-year-old woman from Fgura suffered grievous injuries after falling from the rocks near Għar Lapsi late yesterday afternoon.

The accident occurred at about 6:30pm.

An AFM patrol boat had to be called to convey the victim to shore as she had fallen in an area that was inaccessible, the police said.

An ambulance waiting on site then took the woman to Mater Dei Hospital.
