One year prison sentence for selling Cannabis
The 22-year-old was also found guilty of breach breaching a previous court sentence
Abdiqani Mahad Mohammed, a 22-year-old Somalian man charged with trafficking cannabis pleaded guilty this afternoon, and was sentenced to one year in prison.
Mohammed, who is resident at the Hal Far open centre, was found guilty of selling cannabis within 100m of a school, as well breaching a 2015 court sentence.
The court was presided over by Magistrate Anthony Vella. Police inspector Matthew Spagnol prosecuted while the Simon Micallef Stafrace was legal aid to the accused.
