Man injured in Ghaxaq traffic accident

A man was hospitalised on Thursday suffering from grievous injuries sustained during a traffic accident in Ghaxaq.

According to the police’s communications office, the accident took place on Triq Dawret Hal Ghaxaq at 6.55pm, when two vehicles collided.

The injured man was driving a Suzuki 125, whilst the other driver – a 61-year-old man of Zejtun – was driving a Toyota Hiace.

An ambulance was called on site that rushed the man to Mater Dei Hospital.

Further police investigations are underway.
