Motorcyclist suffers grievous injuries in traffic accident

A 27-year-old Lija resident is undergoing treatment at Mater Dei hospital following a road collision early this morning.

Police said that the incident took place at 6:10am in Triq Ahwa Galea, Mosta, when a motorcyclist on a Yamaha YP250 and a Renault Kadjar collided.

The driver of the Renault, 54, from Mosta, escaped unhurt but police reports later confirmed that the motorcyclist was suffering from grievous injuries.

Police investigations are on-going.
