Armed hold up in Msida

An armed robbery took place earlier today at around 2.30 pm at a shop in Triq l-Isqof Caruana, Msida.

Police on site confirm that the man was carrying a metal weapon when he entered the shop.

Speaking in Maltese, the robber demanded that the 54 year-old cashier hand over the money in the cash register.

The Siġġiewi resident was unharmed in the incident.

The robber then made a quick getaway with the cash.

Police investigations are ongoing.
