Car collides into four other vehicles

A Volkswagen Golf crashed with a Toyota Townace at 6.10 am in San Gwann, causing the former to crash into another two parked cars.

Some of the parked cars moved forward, causing them to hit two parapets.

The car was driven by a 23 year-old Mellieha resident and the van was driven by a 50 year-old man from San Gwann.

At least two persons were injured.

The two drivers have been taken to Mater Dei where it resulted that the 23 year-old is suffering from grievous injuries whereas the 50 year-old was slightly injured.

Police investigations are ongoing
