Motorist, 21, seriously injured in collision

A 21-year-old driver from Qrendi suffered serious injuries after crashing into a parked car in his locality, the police said.

The incident happened at 4.30am at Triq it-Tempesta in Qrendi, when the young man lost control of his vehicle, a Renault Captur.

He was certified to have suffered serious injuries at Mater Dei Hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.
