Man seriously injured in Birzebbugia motorcycle accident

A 43-year-old Bulgarian national from Marsascala was grievously injured today, when the motorcycle he was riding was involved in a collision with a car in Birzebbugia.

The police said the accident, which took place at around 7am in Triq Ghar Dalam, happened when the victim’s Honda motorcycle, and a Ford Fiesta driven by a 63-year-old Zejtun resident, collided.

The victim was taken to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment, where his injuries were determined to be serious in nature.

Police investigations are ongoing.
