Girl hit by car in Birkirkara

A girl has been injured during a traffic incident on Tuesday in Birkirkara.

The incident occurred at 5.40pm in Triq Dun Karm, towards the direction of Lija.

The police said that the girl was hit by a car, being driven by a 57-year-old man.

An ambulance took the girl to Mater Dei Hospital, to be treated for her injuries. At this time, the girl's condition is unknown.
