Marsa car accident leaves three injured

Three people were injured, one of whom grievously, in a car accident on Sunday morning.

The accident, which happened at around 6.15am in Triq it-Tigrija, Marsa, involved a Toyota Ist which was being driven by a 31-year-old San Gwann resident, and a Toyota Ractis, the driver of which was a 35-year-old Dutch national from Rahal Gdid.

A two-year old boy was in the same car as the Dutchman during the time of the incident. Both he and the driver suffered slight injuries, while the San Gwann resident was seriously hurt.

Police investigations are ongoing.
