Man seriously injured after fall through garage shaft

The man was 64 years old and fell a height of one and a half storeys

The man was assisted by Police and members of the CPD and transported to hospital

A 64-year old man was seriously injured after falling a height of one-and-a-half storeys through a shaft in a garage.

The accident took place on Friday morning at around 9:30am on Triq id-Dulliegh in Zejtun.

Members of the Civil Protection Department and Police assisted the man out of the shaft and transported him to hospital in an ambulance. He was reported as suffering from serious injuries.

Police investigations are ongoing.
