Woman held at knifepoint in Msida robbery

A shop was robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash on Thursday evening in what the police have said was an armed hold up in Msida.

The police said in a statement that the incident took place at 9:40pm in Triq il-Bacir.

A hooded man armed with a knife entered the shop and demanded money from the cashier, a 33-year-old woman.

The man made off with the cash and other items.

A police investigation is ongoing.
