Zejtun accident leaves two people injured

A collision between two cars in Triq Alfredo Cachia Zammit in Zejtun, has left two people injured. 

The incident occurred when a Volkswagen Golf driven by a 19-year-old residing in Zetjun, crashed into a Kia Piccanto driven by a 30-year-old also residing in Zejtun. 

The drivers were rushed to Mater Dei hospital for treatment.

 The 19-year-old was certified as having serious injuries, while the 30-year-old emerged from the crash with minor injuries. 

The incident happened around 11.30 pm on Friday evening. 

Police investigations are ongoing.
