Joseph Muscat maintains substantial lead on opposition leader while four MEP hopefuls lead the race for a seat in Brussels
The latest MaltaToday survey shows that both Prime Minister Joseph Muscat and opposition leader Simon Busuttil have maintained the same level of approval they enjoyed in the last survey in December.
Muscat, up one point, maintained a healthy lead over his political rival, also reflected in the voting intentions of respondents.
The survey also reveals the front-runners for the looming European Parliament elections set to be held in two months time.
The first survey for the European elections indicate that while four candidates are set to win a seat in Brussels, the remaining two seats out of six are up for grabs.
