PN targets youths in pledge to fund trip to Europe
As part of its proposals for the culture sector, the Nationalist Party is promising to cover the expenses of a trip to Europe
In a pledge targeting youths aged between 18 and 21, the Nationalist Party is promising to give them a one-time grant to fund a trip to a European destination of their choice.
Announcing a set of proposals for the culture sector, the PN’s spokesperson for culture, Karl Gouder, said that a PN government would cover the expenses so that “each youth between the age of 18 and 21” can visit any EU country of their choice.
The PN is also pledging to have a dedicated ministry for culture.
Gouder said that a PN government would invest in the cultural infrastructure, where the legacy of the V18 will be there for years to follow.
The Malta Film Fund will be raised to €2 million whilst a School of Performing Arts – similar to the National Sports School – will be set up.
