'A vote should be used wisely' - Marlene Mizzi
Speaking at a political event in Gzira, MEP candidate Marlene Mizzi said that one’s vote, a most important document, should be used wisely.
“This is not the right time to think only of ourselves and our needs,” she said. “It is time to evaluate and weigh things well.”
Mizzi reiterated the government’s achievements over the past year, including free childcare, lower energy bills and a reduction of the deficit.
“It is a fact that there are some whose problems have not been addressed, but we must keep in mind that this is just a year out of a whole legislation,” she added. “We must remember that our voice counts within the European Parliament. And the vote is the voice of democracy.”
