At 9:44am this morning, the Broadcasting Authority tweeted for silence on the day of reflection appealing to broadcasting stations to tread carefully.

“No campaign noise please. It’s against the law,” the BA tweeted.

Then, just before 6pm the BA’s Twitter account posted the political spots of Alternattiva Demokratika and also an Imperium Europa spot that had been previously pulled off the air.

It looks like the BA was uploading the videos on its YouTube account and automatically posted them on its Twitter account.

A spokesperson for the BA attributed the incident to "a human error" while archiving the political spots.

The BA today also uploaded a political spot by Alleanza Bidla on its YouTube page.
