Three new cases of COVID-19, two new recoveries
Health authorities say new cases form part of a cluster of 17 patients registered in the past few days
Three new cases of COVID-19 were registered in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of active cases to 37.
Two new recoveries were also recorded.
The update was published on the health ministry’s Facebook page ‘saħħa’.
The cases were registered after a total of 1,310 swab tests were carried out.
The total number of swab tests carried out has now reached 82,263 since the pandemic started.
Health authorities said that the new cases form part of a 17-patient cluster which was registered in the past days.
Malta’s total number of cases has now reached 649, with 603 recoveries registered.
The total number of deaths from the disease remains nine.
