Migrant dead, 76 rescued by AFM
One refugee has died and 76 others have been rescued on the high-seas by the AFM.
The boatload of sub-Saharan refugees was intercepted by the Armed Forces and were brought to Malta in the evening.
The 76 refugees, of various nationalities, including eight women and two children, were reportedly at sea since last Saturday and had no more water or food supplies.
According to the AFM, the refugees claimed to have fled from Misurata in Libya.
One refugee has died and his body was thrown overboard.
