Man caught with quantity of cocaine

A police statement said that the man was found to be in possession of 68 sachets of cocaine, while a search on his apartment in St. Paul's Bay yielded weighing scales and other material related to packing and trafficking of the drug.

He was taken into custody and interrogated at the police headquarters in Floriana, and is expected to be charged with trafficking and possession.

An inquiry is underway.
